DEALER TO DEALER TRANSFER POLICY

Sending/transferring a firearm(s) from Wade's Eastside Gunshop to another dealer:
Shipping and Handling plus a $49.99 transfer fee. We will also need a signed copy of the destination dealer's Federal Firearms License (FFL).

Receiving a firearm from an FFL Dealer:
__________$49.99 transfer fee per firearm. This includes firearms that are not currently in stock or readily ordered by Wade's Eastside Gunshop. Custom, heirloom, and pre-owned firearms fall within this category. To avoid additional charges, invoices for the firearm and shipping costs are required by the customer or transferor.

OR

__________$49.99 transfer fee with a 10% fee based on our retail price of the firearm. (Example: A firearm costs $999.99. The transfer fee would be $49.99 + $99.99 for a total of $149.98.

Every transfer requires the payment of Washington State retail sales tax, regardless of where it was purchased, in accordance with RCW 82.12.040(1). Washington State views this as a use tax. The customer must provide a copy of the sales invoice from the dealer to determine this tax.

  • A minimum $25 fee will be charged in cases where an invoice is not provided by the customer or transferor and/or when a signed Dealer to Dealer Transfer Policy has not been completed prior to the arrival of a transfer.
  • Wade's Eastside Guns does not fax FFLs. It is the responsibility of the transferee to send a copy to the other dealer and require a copy of the other dealer's FFL prior to accepting transfer.
  • Wade's Eastside Guns prefers firearms from current FFL holders. If it is shipped from an individual, not through an FFL, we require identification, and prior notification.
  • Wade's Eastside Gun Shop is not responsible for damage that occurs during the shipping process. Damage claims are the responsibility of the intended transferee, not Wade's Eastside Gun Shop, and should be directed to the carrier (UPS, FedEx, or USPS).
  • Wade's Eastside Gun Shop is not responsible for firearms received that do not meet the expectations insofar as quality, grade, or condition. Shipping charges will apply for returned items.
  • When shipping a firearm, please insure your firearms appropriately.
  • Firearms shipped to and received by Wade's Eastside Gun Shop will be available within one full business day of their receipt, barring improper transfers missing contact info, a copy of the shipper's identification, or invoice. Packages are processed in the order received.
  • All Washington State and federal regulations and rules regarding the purchase or transfer of firearms apply. A state wait will be required for pistols received or individuals without a valid license to carry a concealed pistol. The waiting period will begin after completion of the required paperwork (Form 4473 and State Application) and receipt of the firearm.
